Man Killed When Tour Bus Crashes Into His Pickup Truck In Laurel

LAUREL, Md. (WJZ) -- A tour bus crashes into a pickup truck in Laurel, leaving one person dead.

It happened along Fort Meade and Brock Bridge roads.

Police say 58 people were on board the bus bound for Niagara Falls, when, according to witnesses, the bus attempted to make a left turn and failed to yield the right of way.

The driver of the truck, 45-year-old Michael Palomo of Silver Spring, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but later died.

Seven bus passengers suffered minor injuries.
