Man Killed After Being Hit By Train In Germantown

GERMANTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Montgomery County police say a man was killed after being hit by a train in Germantown.

Police say the train hit the man just before 2 a.m. Friday. He died at the scene, and police are working to determine his identity.

It's unclear why the man was on the train tracks.

The death caused 30- to 80-minute delays on Maryland Area Regional Commuter trains.
