Man Injured In Holiday Weekend Fight In Ocean City Dies

OCEAN CITY, Md. (AP) — Ocean City Police say a man injured in a fight at the resort has died.

The department said in a news release that 31-year-old Ryan Shupert of Baltimore County died Tuesday at a hospital in Salisbury. The state medical examiner ruled the death of homicide.

Police say the fight happened early Sunday at 136th Street and Coastal Highway. Officers say Shupert and his friend were involved in a fight with four other men. Authorities did not say whether the man's friend was injured.

Police are searching for the four men suspected in the assault.
