Man Indicted On Charge Of Sex Solicitation Of Girl

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A California man has been indicted on charges of sexual solicitation of a 15-year-old Edgewater girl.

The Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's Office says 25-year-old Murray Lee Chesak of Ontario, Calif., was indicted Friday. He had been extradited to Maryland last month and is behind held without bond.

Prosecutors say a man reported to county police in March that he believed his daughter was communicating online with a man from California. Authorities say the father put spyware on his daughter's cellphone and computer.

Prosecutors say Chesak told police he had made reservations to fly to Maryland and stay at a hotel in Annapolis.
