Man Gets 20 Years For Shooting, Injuring Wife's Boyfriend

ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) -- A man who shot his wife's boyfriend has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Fifty-four-year-old Dennis Patrick Schultz of Pasadena was sentenced in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court on Monday. He had pleaded guilty to attempted murder shooting of a man his wife was having a relationship with.

The State's Attorney's Office said in a news release that Schultz shot the boyfriend in the arm on Feb. 25, 2015. Schultz was released on house arrest after his guilty plea, but failed to show up for sentencing in June.

He was arrested in September at a rest stop on Interstate 10 in Boerne, Texas.
