Man Gets 13 Years For Robbing Salisbury Bank

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison for robbing a Salisbury bank.

Gary Allen Mitchell, 43, of Salisbury was sentenced Tuesday in federal court in Baltimore.

According to his plea agreement, Mitchell entered the PNC bank on March 21. Prosecutors say Mitchell gave a teller a note and said he had a gun.

He demanded money and the teller gave him more than $4,000. He fled, but police found him a short time later, smoking crack cocaine.
