Man Gets 10 Years For Sex Abuse Of 13-Year-Old Girl
WASHINGTON (AP) -- A Delaware man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl in Washington.
Twenty-two-year-old Robert Sanders III of Dover, Delaware, was sentenced Tuesday in D.C. Superior Court. He pleaded guilty in April to first-degree child sexual abuse.
Prosecutors say in April 2014, Sanders went to live with a relative in southeast Washington. Authorities say Sanders engaged in sex acts with the victim, who was also visiting relatives in the home.
