Man Found Dead, Chemicals At Home Investigated

SILVER SPRING, Md. (AP) -- Authorities say a man was found dead inside a home where investigators found chemicals similar to those used in drug labs.

Montgomery County Police spokesman Capt. Paul Starks said a relative found 35-year-old Ethan Wiley Villemez unconscious inside his Silver Spring home Wednesday night and called 911. Starks says the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police said they do not suspect foul play, and that a relative said Villemez had long-term health issues.

Officers say marijuana was being grown in the home and chemicals used in the manufacture of other drugs were found. Investigators say the chemicals were removed and there is no danger to the public.
