Teen Shot, Killed After Answering Shooter's Knock At His Door
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- One man is dead and another injured in an overnight shooting in Essex.
At about 1:05 a.m. a man answered a knock at his door. He was immediately shot at least one time in the upper body. During the shooting a second person in the home, who was standing behind him, was also shot at least once in the lower body.
Police and medics were called to the scene where the 19-year-old victim died. The second victim was taken to an area hospital where he is being treated and is expected to survive.
The suspect immediately fled the scene.
The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit will continue to investigate this crime.
