Man Dies After Being Shot Multiple Times in East Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A man has died after being shot multiple times early Sunday morning in East Baltimore near Greenwood Cemetary.

Police said officers arrived just after midnight Sunday morning to the 2100 block of Kirk Avenue in the Midway neighborhood of East Baltimore where they found the man. Police said that medics pronounced the man, who was 33, dead at the scene.

Police area also investigating a double-shooting from Sunday morning in East Baltimore — just a few blocks east of the overnight homicide.

Officers found two men shot in the 1600 block of Normal Avenue in neighborhood of Darley Park neighborhood just before 11 a.m. Sunday.

A 21-year-old man was shot in the buttocks, and a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg, police said.

Both men were taken to hospitals for treatment, and citywide shooting detectives are investigating.
