Man Dead After Being Hit By Vehicle In Hagerstown

HAGERSTOWN, Md. (AP) -- Police in Hagerstown say a man is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Hagerstown.

Police say it happened Friday shortly before midnight at the intersection of East Franklin Street and North Locust Street.

Police say the man was taken to a hospital where he later died. Police did not identify the man who died or the driver who struck him. They did not say whether the man was crossing in a crosswalk.
