Man Critically Injured After Being Stabbed By His Girlfriend

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (WJZ) -- A man is fighting for his life after being stabbed by his girlfriend in Baltimore County.

It happened early Saturday morning in the 100 block of Hartley Court in Owings Mills.

Police say an argument quickly turned violent for a couple in their apartment.

The girlfriend picked up a knife and stabbed her boyfriend multiple times in the upper body.

She called 911, and the 37-year-old victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment. He is in critical condition.

The 33-year-old suspect was taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
