Man Critically Burned After AACo Fire

ANNE ARUNDEL CONTY, Md. (WJZ) -- A 40-year-old man suffered critical burns after a fire on South Paula Street.

According to officials, there was heavy fire coming from the trailer, located on the unit block of South Paula Street. The fire department was able to bring the fire under control in minutes.

When they entered the trailer, they found a 40-year-old man with burns over 60-80% of his body. He was flown to the burn center at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he is in critical condition.

A 32-year-old man suffered from moke inhalation; he was taken to the Center for Hyperbaric Medicine at Shock Trauma. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A five-year-old boy was taken to Johns Hopkins for a check up.

The fire is under investigation.
