Man Charged With Murder; Victim's Body Has Not Been Found

GLEN BURNIE, Md. (AP) -- Anne Arundel County Police have charged a man with killing another man whose body has not been found.

Authorities say 50-year-old Mark Hatmaker of Lansdowne was reported missing by relatives on Nov. 26. Baltimore County Police say Hatmaker met 50-year-old Richard Wayne Brooks of Baltimore at Brooks' motor home near an office building in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County Police say investigators found blood that matched Hatmaker in the motor home and in a truck Brooks had rented. Brooks was arrested on Nov. 11 and was charged with second-degree murder in Hatmaker's death.

Hatmaker's body has not been found.

Police say Hatmaker was white, 5'11", 245 pounds, bald and wore glasses. Officers say anyone with information about him should call police in Anne Arundel County or Baltimore County.
