Man Charged With Killing Mother's Fiance

CLINTON, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police have arrested a man they say shot his mother's fiance in Clinton.

It happened about 9 p.m. Wednesday. Officers called to the home found Raymond Quattlebaum, 52, of Clinton suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Quattlebaum got into a confrontation with D'Juan Hunter, 38, of Washington. Officers say Hunter shot Quattlebaum, who was engaged to Hunter's mother, and ran from the home.

Hunter was arrested early Thursday in Bowie. Police say he faces a murder charge.
