Man Charged With Killing 2 Men, Injuring 3rd

WASHINGTON (AP) -- D.C. police have charged a man in a shooting that killed two men and injured a third.

Officers say on July 17, three men were found shot on Ridge Road in Southeast. Anthony Chase, 19, and Eric Leeper, 27, were pronounced dead at the scene. The third man was hospitalized.

Police say Carlton Maurice Johnson, 22, of Washington was arrested Tuesday and charged with two counts of first-degree murder while armed in the deaths of Chase and Leeper.
