Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing In Landover

LANDOVER, Md. (AP) -- Prince George's County Police have charged a man after another man injured in a stabbing died.

Officers called to Landover Road in Landover on March 17 found 48-year-old James Talvin Wells suffering from a stab wound. He was taken to a hospital, where police say he died on Saturday.

Thirty-one-year-old Darnell Franklin Adams was arrested shortly after the stabbing. Police said on Monday that Well has been charged with first-degree murder in Wells' slaying and is being held without bond.
