Man Charged In Fatal Stabbing In Cheverly

CHEVERLY, Md. (AP) -- A Hyattsville man has been arrested and charged in a fatal stabbing in Cheverly.

Prince George's County police say Thaddeus Bailey, 22, was arrested Saturday at his home.

He's charged with first-degree murder and other offenses in the stabbing death of 46-year-old Duvaughn Ganeous, who also lived in Hyattsville.

Ganeous was stabbed to death late Thursday night. Police say the slaying occurred after a fight earlier that evening between the assailant and the victim.
