Man Charged In Fatal Butt Injection Indicted On Federal Charges

GREENBELT, Md. (AP) -- A North Carolina man charged in Maryland with murder in the death of a woman after she received injections into her buttocks has been indicted on federal offenses.

A 9-count indictment was returned Monday against 44-year-old Vinnie Lysander Taylor of Wilmington, North Carolina. The indictment alleges that Taylor sold and injected food grade liquid silicone into people to enhance their buttocks.

Prosecutors say between September 2013 and September 2014, Taylor injected at least seven women in Prince George's County with the silicone.

Taylor is being held in Maryland on state charges, including second-degree murder, in the death of a woman in March 2014 after he allegedly gave her butt injections in a hotel om Capitol Heights, Maryland.

Court records do not list a federal lawyer for Taylor.
