Man Charged In Double Shooting That Left 1 Dead, 1 Injured

BALTIMORE (AP) -- A man has been charged in connection with a double shooting in Owings Mills that left one person dead and another injured.

The Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement Monday that 31-year-old Carlos Levell Nicholson is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

Police say the shooting happened Jan. 7. That night, officers responded found 19-year-old Treshawn William Johnson dead on a sidewalk. A second man was found nearby with multiple gunshot wounds.

The man who survived was taken to a hospital. His identity hasn't been released.

Investigators believe that the two men had some sort of interaction with Nicholson, during which they were shot.

Nicholson is being held without bail. It isn't immediately clear if he has an attorney.
