Man Charged In Double Shooting Near Bowleys Quarters

ESSEX, Md. (WJZ) -- A 64-year-old man has been charged in a double shooting Monday at a apartment leasing office near Bowleys Quarters.

According to Baltimore County Police,  Robert Lee Bolen of no fixed address was charged with two counts of attempted first degree murder, two counts of first degree assault and one count of use of a firearm to commit a felony.

Bolen was a former tenant of the Carroll Park Apartments in the 200 block of Carroll Island Road and had been evicted months ago, police said.

A 47-year-old woman suffered critical injuries and a 39-year-old man suffered non-life threatening injuries from gunshot wounds after Bolen allegedly entered the leasing office and opened fire.

Both victims were employees of the Carroll Park Apartments.

He is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
