Man Brutally Beaten By High School Students Recovering

DUNDALK, Md. (AP) -- A Maryland man who was brutally beaten by a group of students at a nearby high school has been released from the hospital.

Sixty one -year-old Richard Fletcher was attacked Wednesday after he tried to break up a fight between two girls near where his truck was parked in Dundalk. A group of students and adults who were watching the fight viciously attacked Fletcher.  Police say most of the students were from Baltimore Community High School.

Police have arrested two juveniles in the case.

Neighborhood residents say there has been an ongoing problem with students leaving school.  A public forum will be held there Wednesday.
