Man Assaulted On University Of Maryland Baltimore Campus

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- An assault is reported on the University of Maryland Baltimore campus.

A man told police he was struck on his head by four juveniles in the 500 block of West Fayette Street. It happened around 8:25 p.m. Thursday.

According to the university, the victim was not a member of the campus community.

The suspects fled west on Fayette Street. The victim suffered minor injuries.

Police advise caution in the area and suggest walking in groups when possible.
