Man Arrested At White House Had Previous Capitol Arrest

WASHINGTON (AP) -- A man arrested outside the White House after allegedly using a slingshot to fire a small object over the fence had been arrested previously at the U.S. Capitol for breaking a window.

Court documents show that on Sept. 5, Adam Sheridan Olson was arrested after allegedly throwing a hard object and breaking a window that cost between $15,000 and $60,000. Court documents say Olson said he would be back to break more windows, and he was ordered to stay away from the Capitol as well as lawmakers' nearby office buildings.

Olson was arrested Tuesday outside the White House after allegedly firing a slingshot. The Secret Service has not released his age or place of residence.

Reached by telephone on Wednesday, Olson's attorney Alan Solomon declined to comment on the arrest.
