Man Accused Of Multi-County Shooting Spree Appears In Court

HANOVER, Md. (WJZ) -- The man accused of a multi-county shooting spree earlier this year appears in court.

Hong Young, 35, faces more than a half dozen charges.

According to our media partner, The Baltimore Sun, Young is scheduled to go to trial September 24.

The charges stem from a shooting on February 24 in Hanover. That morning, a man told police Young opened fire on him while he was driving on Arundel Mills Boulevard.

Over the next several weeks, police say Young fired shots in eight more incidents in Anne Arundel, Prince George's and Howard counties.

Young was also linked to shootings outside the Mall in Columbia.

No serious injuries were reported in any of the incidents.

Young remains held without bond.
