Man Accused Of Stabbing MSU Student Acquitted Of Murder
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- The man accused of fatally stabbing a Morgan State University student has been acquitted of murder charges.
Harry Robertson was acquitted by a jury late Thursday night, according to the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office.
The 21-year-old was charged with first- and second-degree murder for stabbing Gerald Williams to death outside a housing complex near the Morgan State campus in February.
Prosecutors say Williams was with a friend, who tricked a drug dealer into breaking a counterfeit $50 bill.
Robertson still faces ten years in prison. He was convicted Thursday of accessory after the fact.
Sentencing is scheduled for next month.
