Man, 45, Dies After Northwest Baltimore Shooting

BALTIMORE, Md. (WJZ) -- A 45-year-old man hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the shoulder early Friday morning has died of his injuries, according to Baltimore police.

Patrol officers dispatched to a report of gunfire in the 5700 block of Jonquil Avenue before 6 a.m. found the victim wounded, according to police. The unidentified man was rushed to Sinai Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives have yet to identify a motive or suspect behind the shooting.
