Machado To Have Appeals Hearing Next Week For Suspension
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Orioles All-Star Manny Machado will meet with league officials next week to appeal his four-game suspension. That's according to our media partner, The Baltimore Sun.
Machado was suspended following last week's on-field fight with Kansas City Royals pitcher Yordano Ventura.
Orioles manager Buck Showalter alluded to Machado's appeals hearing being on Tuesday.
Last week, Ventura hit Machado with a pitch, resulting in a bench-clearing brawl.
Ventura was suspended for eight-games.
