Lombardi: Steve Smith Is 'Absolutely' Hall Of Fame Contender

On today's show, with a Friday edition of Monday Morning Quarterback, the guys were joined by Tony Lombardi of Russell Street Report.

Tony and the guys recapped the Ravens win last night and as far as performances go, Lombardi believes Steve Smith is Hall of Fame bound.

Steve Smith is on the track to hit a milestone of 1,000 receiving yards this season (which is supposedly his last).

Last night, Steve Smith Sr. passed Reggie Wayne for eighth all-time receiving in yards as the wide receiver caught his 78th career touchdown pass. Smith now has 997 career receptions for 14,349 yards.

"If you look at some of the guys that have made it recently, I think he's in that same conversation. To me, it should be that the guys that dominated their era, should be in the Hall of Fame. So I think that when you play in the history of the league, determines whether you should go, but this guys's 37 years old and if he said he was coming back next year, he could probably perform at the same level. For what he does...I think he could do it for another year or two," said Lombardi.
