Local Baltimore County Chef Now 'Chopped' Champion

TOWSON, Md. (WJZ) -- A popular Baltimore County restaurant closed its doors early Tuesday to celebrate the success of their own chef.

Chef Jay from Cunningham's in Towson appeared on Food Network's hit show Chopped on Tuesday night-- which he won!

Cunningham's briefly closed its doors as early as 8 p.m. in preparation of a viewing party that was open to the public at 9 p.m.

The episode was shot in April 2018, leaving Chef Jay to keep the secret until he won Tuesday night when the episode aired.
