Loaded Gun Found In Mervo High Cafeteria, Officials Say
BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- A loaded gun was found Thursday in the cafeteria of Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School, Baltimore City Schools confirmed to WJZ.
No injuries were reported when the weapon was recovered.
Police are investigating who brought the gun into the building, and the investigation includes reviewing security camera footage, officials said.
City Schools said whoever brought the gun into the building "will be held accountable per Maryland law."
