Like It Or Not, Harbaugh Begins Offseason Review

OWINGS MILLS, Md. (AP) -- Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh usually spends this time of year getting his team ready for the postseason.

Instead, he's trying to figure out what went wrong during an 8-8 season that caused Harbaugh to miss the playoffs for the first time in his six years as an NFL head coach.

At a news conference Tuesday, Harbaugh said, "We understand that we didn't get the job done, and we understand that we've got to go to work to improve in every single way that we possibly can."

Harbaugh says the team's ineffective running game was "our biggest disappointment." He also says it is imperative that the Ravens provide quarterback Joe Flacco with better protection.

Flacco, the MVP of the last Super Bowl, threw 22 interceptions and was sacked 48 times.
