Light Pole Falls On Vehicle, Causing Traffic Delays Thursday

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Traffic was backed up along Ritchie Highway in Anne Arundel County Thursday afternoon after a light pole fell on top of a car.

The single vehicle wreck happened on northbound Route 2, just before the Beltway.

Authorities say the car hit the pole, then the pole fell on top of the car.

The biggest impact on traffic was for vehicles trying to get onto Ritchie Hwy. from I-695.
