Last Call: Are The Orioles Justified In Not Spending?

The Birds have not had a sexy off-season. Some minor signings and additions to the club have left the Birds fans with a lot of questions. Steve Melewski of MASNSports.com joined Zinno on "Last Call" to discuss the Orioles. The biggest question is why aren't the Orioles spending. The Birds business model is to win with what they've got even though GM Dan Duquette says they have a little room to spend more cash.

Melewski knows that it is frustrating for the fans but the core of the team is still very good with stars like Adam Jones, Chris Davis, JJ Hardy, Chris Tillman and more. The Orioles certainly will hope to return to their 2012 form and will need to have that sort of pitching if they want to be playing in October. There is still a chance to add another pitcher like AJ Burnett or Bronson Arroyo that would bolser the Orioles rotation.
