Laffit Pincay On The Preakness Stakes

Laffit Pincay was once flat racing's winningest all-time jockey, still holding second place many years after his retirement.

Pincay was on with Norris and Davis talking about the upcoming Preakness Stakes.

"The cream has been rising to the top and that's actually better for the sport. The Derby shouldn't be a crap shoot, it should be won by the best horse in the race and that's what we've seen in the last few years," said Pincay.

So can Nyquist make history? Pincay says: "It's a big hurdle, this isn't a gimmie. It's still the Preakness and he still has to face Exaggerator and a couple fresh faces. If he gets over this hurdle, I think the conversation will be can he be as effective at a mile and a half distance."

Tune in to the full interview to hear more about Nyquist's potential and the trends in racing.
