Labor Day Marks The End Of Pool Season In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- It's Labor Day weekend, which marks the unofficial last weekend of summer, and sadly, the end of pool season in the city.

On Sunday, Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake dropped in on families enjoying the Labor Day weekend at city pools.

She discussed the importance of a $136 million plan to invest into city recreation centers, including new pools.

This push is to ensure kids can continue to enjoy swimming sessions in the city for years to come.
