Keurig Recalls 6.6 Million Mini Brewing Systems

WASHINGTON (WJZ) -- Keurig has recalled 6.6 million mini brewing systems in the U.S. after reports that some were overheating, spraying water on customers and burning them.

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission, there have been 90 reports of hot water spraying out of the Keurig® MINI Plus Brewing Systems at customers.

The recall is specific to the K10 model number of the single-serve coffee machine. The recalled brewers have an identification number that starts with the no. 31 and were produced between Dec. 2009 and July 2014.
