Keith Cavanaugh Talks Tomaic, Trimble And More Terps

Head coach of the University of Maryland men's basketball program Mark Turgeon announced the addition of Joshua Tomaic to the Terps' 2016 signing class.

Keith Cavanaugh from the Terrapin Times joined Norris and Davis to talk about the newest addition to the team.

Tomaic averaged 19 points and 12 rebounds per game for the CBA U18 team that placed fifth in the Spanish National Championships.

He will be the first player born in the Canary Islands to play for a Top-25 NCAA Division I men's basketball program.

"Tomaic could very well come in and register just for spacing but he is a very talented kid. He's part Croatian, part African...he's creative, long, bouncy, athletic. He's no project, he has great work ethic and has really honed his skills. But Maryland will have the luxury if they want to register him, but he could come in and play right away," said Cavanaugh.
