BALTIMORE (WJZ)—A male undergraduate student at Johns Hopkins University was reportedly drugged at an off-campus fraternity and may have been a victim of sexual assault, according to our media partner The Baltimore Sun.
The alleged incident took pace at the Sigma Phi Epsilon house located in the 2900 block of Wyman Park drive, but officials have not yet identified a location for the possible sexual assault.
The Sun reports that the university's Campus Safety and Security said in an alert that official have received allegations against unidentified individuals.
"Use of a date rape drug is suspected by the reporting student, but not confirmed," the alert states.
In a statement to The Sun, Kevin G. Shollenberger, vice provost for student affairs said, "while the investigation is underway, Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity has been directed not to hold parties or other events at 2900 or 2902 Wyman Parkway."
