Johns Hopkins Continuing To Investigate Reported Drugging, Sexual Assault

BALTIMORE (WJZ)-- Johns Hopkins University is continuing to investigate an incident after a student claims he may have been drugged and sexually assaulted on Friday night.

According to the university, the undergraduate student suspects he was given a date rape drug by an unidentified individual at the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity house at 2900 Wyman Parkway. The student also says he may have been sexually assaulted.

A spokesperson for Johns Hopkins tells WJZ the use of the date rape drug and the occurrence of a sexual assault has not been confirmed.

As authorities continue their investigation, Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity has been directed not to hold parties or other events at 2900 or 2902 Wyman Parkway.
