Joe Maddon Enjoyed Watching The Orioles Resurgence
Joe Maddon is the current Manager of the Chicago Cubs.
Joe joined Ed and Steve to talk about the upcoming season and his appearance at the 11th Annual Aspire Gala.
Joe started off by talking about his time with the Rays saying "it was a fun 9 years going from the Devil Rays to the Rays and it was fun to watch the resurgence of the Orioles, Buck has done a great job." As for what he thinks brought the turnaround for the Orioles Joe said "the Orioles are really tough to play, that group comes to beat you and won't be intimidated...they play the game hard and they play the game right." When asked about his experience with Cubs so far Joe said "it's been great and I haven't even been in the dugout yet...it's a great franchise that goes down through the generations in Chicago." Joe also talked about the 11th Annual Aspire Gala which is Friday February 13th involving the Ripken Foundation.
