Jim Schwartz Says In Crunch Time You Have To Feed The Beast

Jim Schwartz is a former NFL head coach for the Detroit Lions and has also been a part of coaching staffs for the Buffalo Bills, Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, and the Baltimore Ravens.

Jim joined the Monday Morning QB crew to talk about yesterday's 28-24 Patriots Superbowl victory over the Seahawks.

Jim started off by talking about the play call from the Seahawks at the one yard line and what he would have expected as a defensive coordinator saying "I would've been preparing for the same thing Belichcik was preparing for, they were loaded up against the run...New England is one of those teams that can change from week to week." As for what he thought of the call Jim said "all the calls in the game are important but when you get down to that crunch time you want the ball in your best players hand, and Seattle's best player has been Marshawn...for lack of a better term you have to feed that beast." Jim also talked about the difficulties of stopping the Patriots short passing game and how Seattle was getting pressure but Brady was getting rid of the ball.
