Jerry Crasnick On Buck Showalter Being A Top Manager In The MLB

Jerry Crasnick covers the MLB for ESPN and writes a column for ESPN.com.

Jerry joined Ken and Steve to talk about his recent article on Buck Showalter's importance to the Orioles and his standings among other Managers in the MLB.

Jerry started off by talking about how Buck Showalter is viewed outside of Baltimore saying "I think he's gone through an evolution look at his early career and he was very organized and a brilliant baseball mind...but the evolution has led to him being in Baltimore and being a guy who knows how to work a clubhouse and make the game more fun."

Jerry also talked about the All-Star game reserves and which Orioles he thinks will make it saying "Machado has to be a lock, and when we picked our teams the other day I had Zach Britton on mine but not Adam Jones...that being said on a player's ballot he'll make it, he's well respected."

Jerry also talked about whether or not Manny Machado is becoming a superstar right before our eyes.
