Jeremy Conn: Reaction To Ravens 2015 Schedule

When it comes down to the schedule reveal, I always look at back to back road games and where the bye week falls. The Ravens' bye week falls in week 9, which I'm sure the Ravens are thrilled about having a late bye week.

The first 2 months of the season are brutal. The Ravens will only play 2 home games in the first 2 months as well as 2 separate trips of back-to-back games on the West Coast. It's not about who they play, but more about the travel and toll that takes on the players body.

One of the things I always talk about is playing your Thursday game at home. Every team will have at least one game on a Thursday night. The Ravens head to Pittsburgh on Thursday, October 1. The good news for the Ravens is after the bye week they will play 5 of 8 games at home and their road games are Cleveland, Miami and Cincinnati. They don't have to travel far at all and that will benefit them heading into the playoffs.

The home games against Cincinnati and Cleveland are must wins in the beginning of the year in my opinion. I believe this is another 11-5 or 10-6 year for the Ravens and they will be in the mix to win the division.
