Jeremy Conn: NCAA Hoops Parity

You have heard every announcer and talking head say it, the field is wide open for this years March Madness and anyone can win it.

Every team has their issues and can be beaten on any given night. We have teams that have depth issues and if any player gets in foul trouble, could mean an early exit. Duke and Iowa State are Perfect examples of that.

You have other teams that are defensively challenged at times and will let teams hang around. When you watch UNC, Oregon and OU come to mind.  How about teams that have let you down in the past because they play to the level of their opponent or seem to always have that hiccup in postseason play? Those teams being Kansas, Villanova, and Virginia comes to mind, but a lot of their issues are because they have problems scoring.

In my opinion, Michigan State is the best team in the country.  They have a little bit of everything I like. Great coach, one of the best players in the country and they have been there before.  Plus, they are battle tested and have played a tough schedule all year.  If Iwas forced to pick one team, give me the Spartans.
