Jeremy Conn: NCAA Final Four Predictions

On Saturday evening, the top 4 teams in the country will play for a chance to advance to the National Championship game. Over-all number 1 seed Kentucky will face Big Ten Champ Wisconsin and perennial ACC powerhouse Duke will face Tom Izzo's 7-seeded Michigan State Spartans.

Let's break down each matchup and I'll make a prediction for who wins each game:

Kentucky Vs Wisconsin

I think a lot of fans would like to see the Wisconsin team win the whole thing this year. They are the only team without a McDonald's All American player on their squad. They have 2 of the best players left in the tournament with Frank Kaminsky and Sam Dekker. I don't think they will be enough to get the job done against Big Blue. The size of Kentucky has given teams fits this year. I don't think Wisconsin will have a problem with Kentucky's size but i do believe the athleticism of Kentucky's guards will be a problem. The way to beat Kentucky is with dribble drive penetration and kick out's for threes. Wisconsin doesn't have the player in my opinion. I think Andrew Harrison takes over and Kentucky wins this game. This will be a low scoring affair as both teams play great defense and don't foul much.

Kentucky 64 Wisconsin 54

Duke Vs Michigan State

A lot of people expected the Duke Blue Devils to be here, but not the many thought that Michigan State would make it. They are a little undersized and don't shoot free throws well. That hasn't hurt them thus far as they have won every game and covered the spread in each and every game. Duke isn't a very deep team but you don't have to be with the superstar power they have. They have the best player in the country with Okafor. They have unbelievable guard play with Quin Cook and Tyus Jones. Also Justice Winslow has proven to be a difference make and a tough cover for most players on the floor. If Michigan State is gonna win this game Trice and Valentine are going to have to come up big. I think this game will be high scoring and i have Duke edging out the Spartans.

Duke 75 Michigan State 71
