Jeff Zrebiec Says Boldin Is The Type Of Player The Ravens Need

Baltimore Sun writer Jeff Zrebiec joined Sports With Coleman to discuss all the moves happening for the Baltimore Ravens during the early portion of the free agency period.

Jerry asked Jeff where the Ravens are in terms of the salary cap and how much money under the cap is the team currently. Zrebiec said, "If I'm guessing, I would say $8 million but I can't give you an exact figure without knowing (Dennis) Pitta's exact pay cut."

Another topic of discussion was whether or not the team will bring back fan favorite Anquan Boldin. Zrebiec said, "I'm anti-reunion...but I also have a lot of respect Boldin. He's the type of player they need. Obviously you'd like younger and quicker, but he makes plays and I think they could do worse than to resign him on a one-year deal."
