Investigators Hope New Drawing Could Help ID Remains
FREDERICK, Md. (WJZ) -- Frederick County Sheriff's deputies are hoping the public can help them identify the remains of a man found 25 years ago.
According to the sheriff's office, the skeletal remains of a man between the ages of 25 and 40 were found on Nov. 10, 1989 along Right Hand Fork Road at the Watershed in Frederick. Investigators believe the man died sometime between November of 1988 and July of 1989, but he may have died before.
Recently with the help of a forensic artist with the Baltimore County Police Department, detectives created a lifelike drawing of the man's face. Detective Evelyn Grant reconstructed the man's face based on his skull.
