Police Investigate Suspicious Death In Frederick Co.

KNOXVILLE, Md. (WJZ) -- Maryland State Police are investigating the suspicious circumstances behind a Frederick County man's death in his home.

State troopers found John D. Becker, 45,  lying on his living room floor dead Monday morning. While the cause of his death remains unknown, investigators hope the autopsy will give more information on what happened to Becker.

No arrests have been made at this time.

Becker's girlfriend and her male cousin were also in the home; both lived with Becker. The woman was hysterical and left in an ambulance to be evaluated at the hospital, where she remains. Investigators interviewed the man at the Frederick Barrack and he was not held by police.

Crime scene technicians processed the residence after investigators obtained a search warrant. They have not found any calls for service at the home for domestic violence issues.
