Inmate Mistakenly Released In Baltimore

BALTIMORE (WJZ) -- Police are looking for an inmate after he was mistakenly released from custody Friday.

Rodriguez Purnell, of the 1800 block of Bentalou Street in Baltimore, was awaiting trial on murder and other charges when he was released Friday evening from the Maryland Reception, Diagnostic and Classification Center Friday, according to the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.

Purnell, pictured above, is described as six feet tall and 175 pounds.

No other information is available at this time. Anyone with information on his whereabouts should call 9-1-1.
